Holiday Local Maker Gift Guide

Over the past couple of years, I have had the wonderful opportunity to work with some amazing creatives in the Boston and New England area. I just realized how much talent there is locally, and have wanted to support the local creative community. About a month back, I started thinking about how I personally wanted to shop locally for most of my Christmas gifts, and I thought why not create a blog post that's a holiday gift guide of some of these local creatives' work. I reached out to a few creatives in the area, and I found these three ladies to feature on the local holiday gift guide. Their products are so beautiful, hand-made, and made with love. These three are some of the hardest working creatives in the area and I know that their work speaks for itself.

Without further ado, here is my 2016 local maker holiday gift guide:

1) Live in Mosaics || jessica@liveinmosaics.com || www.etsy.com/shop/liveinmosaics

Jessica creates unique photo frames, mirrors, ring holders, and more. Her work has been featured in styled photo shoots, and makes a great gift for couples, friends, home decor experts, and anyone who can appreciate expert craftsmanship in a beautiful art piece. Her studio is amazing with different color mosaic pieces everywhere, it's definitely one of the coolest workspaces I have been in. You can tell how she harnesses the beauty of nature and the beach into a lot of her pieces. The pieces she makes are just so special, and the perfect gift for any person's home.

Pieces range from $28-280

2) Shop 180 ||  contactshop180@gmail.com || shop180.etsy.com

Megan used to work in patient psych, and taught all of the kids to make friendship bracelets. After becoming a stay at home mom, she started looking for a creative outlet and started making these bracelets for friends and family. With their encouragement Megan opened Shop180. These beautiful bracelets can even be customized with custom color options available (so if you are getting married this upcoming year, you could even get your wedding colors in a bracelet). Make sure to snap up these bracelets before the holidays because these are so gorgeous and rare that I can see them selling out fast.

Pieces range from $8-24 and final order date is December 12th (but if you want to arrange a pickup, please contact Megan directly).
