When 2016 started, I knew what one of my top goals for the year would be. I wanted to create a separate brand for my wedding photography and then also create a more cohesive brand for my food/commercial photography.
I love to shoot many types of photography, and I feel that the only way to become a better photographer is to constantly learn new photography techniques. However, having all of my different types of photography in one place, on one website started to feel a little bit cluttered. Since I had so many types of photography to look at, I felt like none of it stood out because there was just too much in the quantity of photography.
After a few months of research, pinteresting (oh yes, I completely love my Pinterest just like all of you planning your weddings), consulting with my graphic designer sister Heather Francovitch (who is working on a new logo for this brand), and planning I have finally started to make head way with a creation of a new brand. While I am still working on a few things to incapsulate this cohesive brand, I wanted to get a website up so that I could start showing off at least a bit more of my wedding imagery for those who are planning 2016 and 2017 weddings.
Along with the color palette of green and gold, I also thought long and hard about what kind of wedding photographer I wanted to be presented as. The one thing I know I love to capture and try to focus a lot of my portfolio on is the emotions of that day. Some of my favorite images in my portfolio are photos with someone who is giddy with happiness and smiling from ear to ear or someone who looks warmly on at their loved one. These are the moments that make me so excited to be such an integral part of this amazing day.
I hope you all will keep following me as I keep fine tuning my brand and I promise to provide you with beautiful, touching images along the way.
