Stacey and Travis’ wedding day was filled with love and tons of family traditions. Their day started with Stacey’s family and friends helping her get ready with the most beautiful set up. There were balloons and decor celebrating their wedding day and getting her excited for all that was to come.
One of the first things that happened that day was the exchanging of gifts. Stacey opened a few gifts from Travis, including a garter that had a Lily Pulitzer look to it. Travis opened a few gifts from Stacey including a few items celebrating their wedding date.
Perhaps the absolute cutest thing I saw that day was that Stacey and Travis exchanged notes back and forth from their different hotel rooms. These two were just so excited to see each other and be around each other in any way they could that day. This led to the most interesting first look that I have done so far. Stacey really wanted to see Travis before she walked down the aisle to calm her nerves but Travis really wanted that moment. So we had Travis blindfolded so that Stacey could see him but he wouldn’t see her before she walked down the aisle.
Stacey and Travis had a traditional catholic mass, and then after the recessional, they celebrated another family tradition. These two started their married life together by cutting a ribbon right outside the church to officially walk into their new married life together.
After the ceremony we grabbed some bridal party portraits in a local park and then headed over to start another special family tradition. Stacey and Travis stopped to take a photo at the exact same tree where her mom and dad took a photo on their wedding day. From there we went over to the reception site, Kirkbrae Country Club, for more photos and to start off their cocktail hour. This group of family and friends were having so much fun by the time we got there, and after a few quick photos on the golf course with Stacey and Travis, they joined the fun.
The intros were amazing and then Stacey and Travis started their first dance, which by the way was another favorite moment of mine. These two were adorable, and then the song changed into her parents’ wedding song and they shared the dance with the two of them. This is definitely what I loved about Stacey and Travis’ wedding day, incorporating so many different family traditions that made it into such a special day.
There were then some amazing speeches by the MOHs and Best Men, and then the fun dancing started off after dinner. Immediately the kids at the wedding started it off and then everyone else got onto the dance floor, kicking off Stacey and Travis’ marriage with an awesome celebration.
Congratulations again Stacey and Travis, it was such a fun and beautiful day!!
