I met Jenn through Team in Training when we trained for the Boston Marathon together in 2014. I was so excited when she reached out for her wedding day. We all met at Government Center for their engagement session on a chilly day in December. The two of them met at Boston Calling at City Hall Plaza, so naturally this was a great place to start their session. With the level of wind there that afternoon, we quickly decided that we needed to change up locations and so we walked over towards Beacon Hill. These two were all laughter as we walked around, and you just get in better mood being around them. Listening to stories and laughing along with them, the time for their session quickly flew by and at the end we had some beautiful images of this awesome couple. I am so excited for their wedding day coming up in June, I know it will be so much fun celebrating these two!
I met Rachelle through a referral from another photographer. Rachelle and Dave were heading to an event that evening, and since they were all dressed up, they wanted some engagement images of the two of them. It’s always a good idea to capture images on special occasions and I’m so glad I could do this for the two of them.
They live in the South End, so we started off right near their place and walked around the streets in their area, including those beautiful cobblestone streets. These two were such good sports considering we had a bit of drizzle during our session.
I met Megan and Dan on a chilly, windy late September morning on Castle Island. This is definitely a favorite place of mine in the Boston area and it's truly a beautiful place for an engagement session.
One of the things I really love is when my couples get their fur babies involved in the session, because frankly your pets really are a part of your family so why shouldn't they be included in your session. So Megan and Dan brought along their dog Desmond, a yorkie and maltese mix, and the cutest dog. One of the things I loved learning is that Dan's brother owns Desmond's brother, whose name is Charlie. For any of you "Lost" fans out there this should make you happy, for those who didn't watch "Lost" Desmond and Charlie were two characters on the show that have a big story line together.
Megan and Dan were so easy to capture lovely images of, they were so sweet with each other. All I had to say to them was to cuddle up and they looked adorable. You can instantly tell how at ease they are with each other, and how kind they are to each other. That extends to their dog Desmond as well. These two are the kind of people that you meet and instantly feel welcome, and I am just so excited to be working with them to capture their wedding day in August of next year. I'm sure Desmond is just as excited about their wedding day coming up :)
