Kaitlyn first reached out to me via email to capture her and Adam's wedding, when she told me where they were planning to get married I became super excited. I really got to know these two when I shot their engagement session in Beacon Hill and the Boston Common. I knew instantly upon meeting these two for their engagement session that they would be an amazing couple to work with. At their engagement session, they brought their dog Sadie (who by the way is one of the cutest dogs I have ever met), and were making each other crack up the whole time. One of the other things I instantly loved about these two is how game they were for trying out poses. They just had fun with it, enjoying the whole photo session process. With these two, you can just tell they are so at ease with each other and make each other so happy. This is what love should be like, being at ease with someone who makes you laugh.
It was so amazing then to transition to their wedding day, and meet all of their friends and family. Who again, all have an ease and happiness about them. Throughout Kaitlyn getting ready, her friends were making jokes, and making sure she got fed. Adam and his friends were the same when I met them as well, just ribbing on each other and having fun.
It was the most beautiful day. The sun was out, but it wasn't too hot and their ceremony was on the front lawn of Fort Adams Trust so there was an unbelievable view. It was as if mother nature designed this day just for them.
The thing I loved most about their wedding was how everyone let the emotions of the day come to the surface. Adam was welling with tears of joy and happiness walking down the aisle with his two parents, and Kaitlyn's dad teared up after the ceremony when him and Kaitlyn had a private moment just the two of them. It almost made me tear up on both of these occasions, it was the most genuinely happy I have seen so many people be on a wedding day.
Following some amazing toasts from their best man and maid of honor, fireworks actually started going off near the bridge across the water from Fort Adams. This was a completely unplanned event that happened to coincide with their wedding day, just another amazing way to cap off a beautiful day. I smiled when these two left through rows of their friends and family with sparklers into a car that said "just married," knowing that Kaitlyn and Adam would have a beautiful and happy newlywed life surrounded by friends and family who love them so dearly.
