I met Stephanie and Tazz through an engagement session giveaway that I did last year. These two are some of the sweetest people I have ever met. The week that I was down in New Orleans over December was one of the rainiest weeks ever. It was literally raining every single day and for a bit, I was nervous we were going to have to cancel their session. Luckily, the rain let up to a light drizzle right before their session, and that lasted until right after it was finished. We walked all around City Park and over to the New Orleans Museum of Art. It was such a gorgeous location for a session and I completely enjoyed getting to know Stephanie and Tazz as we walked around. These two met at a special needs camp, and you can tell within minutes of meeting them how generous and kind they are. They were making each other laugh the whole time, and totally game for anything. One of the funniest parts of their session was the fact that these geese kept coming up to Tazz, literally twice a group of geese came up to him. I am so happy to have gotten to know these two, such sweet souls that I know are meant for each other.
I met Jenn through Team in Training when we trained for the Boston Marathon together in 2014. I was so excited when she reached out for her wedding day. We all met at Government Center for their engagement session on a chilly day in December. The two of them met at Boston Calling at City Hall Plaza, so naturally this was a great place to start their session. With the level of wind there that afternoon, we quickly decided that we needed to change up locations and so we walked over towards Beacon Hill. These two were all laughter as we walked around, and you just get in better mood being around them. Listening to stories and laughing along with them, the time for their session quickly flew by and at the end we had some beautiful images of this awesome couple. I am so excited for their wedding day coming up in June, I know it will be so much fun celebrating these two!
I met Christina and James on what could have been an iffy weather morning. The whole day before and morning leading up to their session we were watching the weather. We got lucky and the rain/snow held off until after their session. It was so fun exploring Mill No. 5 with them and their dog (who was super photogenic by the way, literally just posed for all the photos), such a unique location for an engagement session. Since these two are locals to this area, this worked very well and was a place that was special for them. Two places that they love to go to are the record store there and the coffee shop. It was a good thing that we got there a little on the earlier side, because at the end of our session it was super crowded there. Such a fun outing and now I’m excited to have learned about a new place, that I’m definitely going to go to myself. I am so excited for their wedding in May, I know it will be just as fun!
